Electric bikes are rapidly gaining popularity and it’s easy to see why. They offer many options and advantages to so many people. And they are great fun to ride!
Our ebike customers are benefiting in many ways. From eating up the miles more easily on a commute to work, getting more downhill runs in mountain biking, being more active despite health conditions or tackling the steeper hills while enjoying a social, road bike ride.
We offer a variety of brands such as Merida, Haibike, Ridgeback, Cannondale, GT, Basso, Forme, Dawes, Eovolt, Batribike, Lapierre and Raleigh. This means that whether you’re looking for a hybrid to use about town, a mountain or road bike we’re able to offer an ebike which suits you. Folding, gravel and cargo ebikes are available too.
There are a variety of payment options available to help spread the cost, including Finance from 0%, electric bike loans from the Scottish Government and ‘Cycle to Work’ vouchers. East Lothian Council, our local council, offers a higher limit of £2,000 with their ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme. The Green Commute Initiative scheme has no limit, so this opens up a greater choice of ebikes. For more info check our our Finance and ‘Cycle to Work’ pages.
In terms of servicing and maintenance, we’ve had specialist ebike training from Bosch, Shimano and Yamaha which enables us to handle electric bike servicing and repairs in our workshop, in addition to our Cytech Technician status with Cytech Accreditation.
As part of our service we ensure your bike is fully built for your collection or delivery. A free 6 week service is included and, of course, a full warranty. If, on the off chance, you have any problems we are close by to help.
If you’d like to test ride an ebike, no problem! We have demos available and our ebikes are also convenient to hire.
