We’ve been pestering Grit Scooters for a wee while to come up and visit us in East Lothian, knowing how much our scooter customers and friends love a scoot session particularly with a Pro team there, we knew this would be really popular.
On Sunday 13 Jan 2013, the Grit team arrived and so did a whole load of scooterists. Big shout out to the scooter crew who travelled all the way up from the Scottish Borders for the event!
The Grit guys held a wicked demo including backflipping the spine and triple tailwhipping the box! Ryan had unfortunately picked up an injury earlier in the tour but he still scooted one footed over the spine – what a trooper! Heal well and we look forward to seeing you scoot next time Ryan.
All the scooterists were well stoked with their giveaways and anything…and everything got signed! We then held an ‘old skool’ bunny hop comp during the session, congrats to Liam Allan of Gullane and Callum Henderson of Jedburgh who won a Grit t-shirt each from us for clearing a height of 25”. However, Westy from Grit was – ‘King of the Hop’ – with an impressive 31” with Billy, from Grit, following closely behind. Here’s a tweet with some more pics.
