2020 is well underway but we wanted to take a breather to celebrate what a brilliant year 2019 was. We’ve captured some memories in a video slideshow. It shows what we offer and what cycling adventures our customers have been on during the year.
Another super and busy year took in: customers competing in the Scottish Cyclocross and Crit seasons, adventurous bike and raftpacking, the ever popular Berwick Wheelers ‘Reivers Road Race’, Big Pedal and Bikeability free bike checks at five local primary schools including Dunbar and East Linton, adapted cycles, custom and restoration bike builds, cycle tourists visiting East Lothian from around the world, our cycle hire customers enjoyed the John Muir Way, ebikes offered great solutions for commuting, mountain biking and tackling the local climbs and our cycling kit managed to be spotted both near and far, from Athlestaneford to the Atlas mountains …
Pause for breath …
… we repeated our demo day which was really well attended with great feedback, we continued our support of local lad Lewis Rollo with his training for the British National Superstock 1000 motorbike race series during which he clinched a memorable 1st place at Donington Park, Mr BB had a big birthday and took to Cadwell Park for a track day – yes ‘wheels are our thing’!, Gill from Puffin Cycling appeared in the UK’s 100 Women in Cycling, we waved goodbye to Dean (‘1bike1world‘) after helping him prepare his bike for his around the world trip and have followed his subsequent adventures with his adopted cat Nala, supported Norham ‘Bridge Too Far’ charity cycle again and took part in ‘Local Bike Shop’ day and ‘Small Business Saturday’ celebrations with coffee, cake and offers!
